- Board your overnight flight to
Rome, arriving in Italy on Day 2
of your tour. Today your CE Tour
Director will lead you on a walking
tour of Rome. Throw a coin in the
Trevi Fountain - legend has it that
those who do so over their backs
will return to Rome again.
- A local guide joins you for a full
morning sightseeing of Rome,
including such sights as the Roman
Forum, the Colosseum, and the
Piazza Venezia. In the afternoon,
you will explore Rome further
on foot, visiting the Pantheon.
- This morning you will have a guided
visit of Vatican City, including St.
Peter's Basilica and the Sistine
Chapel, famously painted by
Michelangelo. You might choose to
climb the dome of the basilica, or
just enjoy the ambience of the
square.
- Today is a full day excursion to
Florence, celebrated by many as the
most beautiful city in Italy. Visit the
Uffizi and its many treasures.
You will also stop at the Piazzale
Michelangelo for a panorama view
of this lovely city.
- Your last day in Rome is free for
you to enjoy any sights you may
have missed. Tonight you will
take an evening drive to see Rome
by night.
- Today you say goodbye to Rome.
Your CE Tour Director will
assist you with your transfer
to the airport for your flight
home.
